The bag with the happy dog on it
is not the whole story.

Most commercial pet food is cooked at 180°C during extrusion — a process that destroys natural vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids. Synthetic vitamins are added back in. The result is a product that meets the minimum legal standard, but is far from what your pet evolved to eat.

A 2019 study in PLOS ONE found that dogs fed fresh food diets had significantly higher microbiome diversity than kibble-fed dogs. Microbiome diversity is one of the strongest predictors of long-term immune health in mammals.

Not a trend.
A structural shift.

Fresh food is not a premium upgrade. It is what your pet's body was designed to eat. The science is clear: real ingredients, gently cooked and portioned correctly, produce measurable improvements in energy, digestion, coat quality, and long-term immune health — often within weeks.

What are you actually
paying for today?

Most pet owners in the UAE spend more than they think on commercial food — and get less than their pet deserves. Here is what the real monthly cost looks like across options, for a medium-sized dog (10–15 kg).

The real cost gap is in the vet bills.

A medium dog on supermarket kibble costs an average of AED 1,950–2,580/year in food + vet visits. A dog on Pawprint fresh food costs an average of AED 5,280–6,680/year — but with significantly fewer vet visits, the real difference narrows to less than AED 8/day more than premium kibble. For a pet that lives 10–15 years, that is the difference between a healthy life and a managed one.

Pet owners who switched
never looked back.

"Within three weeks, Max's coat was noticeably shinier and he had so much more energy on our morning walks. I wish I had done this years ago."
